The Flower Shop is Coming to Luverne, Minnesota – Opening Early 2026!

We’re thrilled to announce that The Flower Shop, one of South Dakota’s most trusted and customer-loved cannabis dispensaries, is officially crossing the border and bringing our signature experience to Luverne, Minnesota in early 2026!

After serving thousands of happy customers across our four South Dakota locations (Sioux Falls, Mitchell, Brookings, and Aberdeen), we’ve been eagerly watching Minnesota’s cannabis landscape evolve. With adult-use cannabis now fully legalized, the time is right to expand into the Land of 10,000 Lakes—and we couldn’t think of a better first stop than the welcoming community of Luverne.

A Little History: We’ve Been Planning This Luverne Dispensary for Years

Many of you already know the story, but it’s worth repeating: we purchased the future home of The Flower Shop Luverne way back in 2023, long before Minnesota’s adult-use market had a clear timeline. That early vote of confidence in Luverne and in Minnesota’s future speaks volumes about how much we believe in this community.

Here’s the original article from the Rock County Star Herald when the news first broke in 2023:

Where You’ll Find Our Minnesota Cannabis Dispensary

Our new dispensary will be located at 706 S Kniss Ave—right off the interstate, impossible to miss, and with plenty of parking. We’re currently in the exciting (and slightly chaotic) construction phase as we transform the space into the warm, modern, and welcoming environment our customers have come to expect.

Why Luverne?

Simple. Luverne feels like home. It’s a friendly, hardworking community right on the South Dakota border that’s been overwhelmingly supportive from day one. Opening in Luverne means our Minnesota friends no longer have to miss out on the Flower Shop Vibes.

See you in 2026!
